The Response of the Soil Microbiome to Contamination with Cadmium, Cobalt and Nickel in Soil Sown with Brassica napus

Soil fertility is determined by biological diversity at all levels of life, from genes to entire biocenoses. The aim this study was evaluate bacterial in soil contaminated with Cd2+, Co2+ and Ni2+ sown Brassica napus. This an important consideration because soil-dwelling microorganisms support phytoremediation minimize the adverse effects heavy metals on environment. Microbial counts, influence (IFHM) microorganisms, colony development (CD) index, ecophysiological (EP) index genetic bacteria were under controlled conditions. contamination significantly influenced microbial increased values CD EP indices. tested decreased bacteria, particular phyla Actinobacteria Proteobacteria. Bacteria genera Arthrobacter, Devosia, Kaistobacter, Paenibacillus, Phycicoccus, Rhodoplanes Thermomonas identified both non-contaminated soil. These are highly resistant Ni2+.
